for their unique beauty and passion as are those of Tatiana Ivaschenko-Jackson.
Born in the Ukrainian City of Odesa, she began her career as an artist
in the streets of the Southern Russian City of Krasnodar, painting
portraits and landscapes. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in Art History
and technical drawing from Krasnodarsky University where she received
numerous awards and recognition.
In 1991
Tatiana was accepted at the Herstsen Pedagogical University in St.
Petersburg Russia, to begin work on her M.F.A. After a year of study
she was chosen to receive a scholarship for study in the United
States. In the fall of 1993 she entered the graduate school at the
University of Northern Iowa where she earned an M.A. in painting.
Tatiana
lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with her husband and daughter where she
enjoys gardening and stays busy working on commissions and creating
new paintings for future exhibitions.
Whenever
an exhibition of Tatiana's paintings opens, it is always followed
with enthusiastic reviews and overwhelming attendance. Her works
can be found in numerous public and private collections throughout
the United States and Europe.
